Welcome to our web site... As a Canadian artist with a Mennonite upbringing I have a unique insight into the traditional Mennonite lifestyle here in Waterloo Region. This part of Ontario is home to several thousand "horse and buggy" Mennonites and they have been the inspiration for many of my paintings over the last thirty years.
My work is not limited, however, only to the Mennonite theme. Florals and garden subjects as well as landscapes from across North America and Europe are favourite themes for my acrylic paintings.
Over the years I have published many limited edition reproductions as well as created designs for collector plates and tableware. Added to several coffee table books of my work are the paintings and reproductions that I do on commission for corporations as well as individuals. These commissions often involve traveling and I now spend a good portion of each year "on the road".
